Ehlana and Ethan:
Our day started with a chilly Tai Chi workout by the river, and while it was around freezing; we opted for the fresh air and looked forward to another warmer weather day that is a gift during the winter. Let’s also mention that the weather experts do not offer up alarms when weather like this is to our collective benefit – only when it is a bit colder than normal – or even for what actually is normal for winter.
After the workout, we had a hot breakfast; moved on to uneventful academic adventures, and then even though many of our friends went out biking again; we went to the lab or archives to play-work there because we had the chance to do that while still getting a break from band practice. We used time phasing to get more done and returned home late for dinner that Mom and Dad delayed so they could still eat with us and trade stories-of-the-day. Ethan and I took care of the clean-up; joined in on the office work after that; and Mom did a Magi lesson with us to go along with the charity and family business work. Time phasing helped us to get more done tonight too; and that’s also why we finished up by ten-thirty.
Now we’re wrapping up with the usual twin chat and computer checks. Venezuela continues to be the top world news story of the week, and while we hate what is happening there at the hands of our military and leaders; those stories are also keeping other news out of the headlines. We are not going to offer a rant tonight – staying happy as we head off to bed wins over extended pondering of the idiocy of world leaders and other power players. It is also tempting to offer up some dark humor tonight, but while we are happy to have a languages expert in the family; we aren’t actually worried about needing the interpreting or translating help to work with near-term conquerors – not even from an alien invasion! ;^)
Okay, that’s enough for today. We’re ready to crash and nap now; so we’re out of here and off to dreamland soon.
