Ethan and Ehlana:
Congratulations, Anna Marie and Calvin Jennings – you’re married!
That’s our top news of the day-so-far; the wedding ceremony was beautiful; and the dinner and reception at the Inn will be starting soon.
Our personal news since the last update starts with an easy-dinner at Naomi’s; we had a quiet play evening and movie night that eventually included Naomi’s Mom after she got finished at the salon; and we didn’t have Zack and Eli issues because they were with the Carringtons last night. We were up early for Tai Chi after our co-ed sofa sleepover; breakfast needed to be quick and easy too because Liz needed to be back at the salon – along with the visiting stylists that helped out with all of the wedding day appointments. We also fit in a video conference with Cassie, Michael, Mom, and Dad; so that was a lot of fun too. Naomi and Ehlana didn’t have appointments today, but they did get help with their hair after lunch; and Aiden and I were very lucky to be their dates today! ;^)
We’ve skipped over the morning baseball news for our family teams; so let’s do that next. Brianna, Faith, and the Faeries won over the Pixies, and the four-to-zero score was partly-due to a storm break and dropping one inning because of that delay. Zack, Eli, and the Pirates managed to win too; while Leah, Hailey, and the Diamonds had an eleven-to-nine loss against the Gems. We didn’t play with our teams, but we’ve already been told that Ehlana’s team lost today; and it isn’t looking good for my team either with Aiden and I out of the lineup.
We’re at home for a break to freshen up before the dinner and reception at the Inn, and we’ll be there for the meal, but then we’ll be home and doing some babysitting tonight – as well as a co-ed sofa sleepover with Naomi and Aiden. Those plans are a bit fluid; so you’ll need to wait for our next report for the details. We’re getting a bit disjointed with this report, but should mention that Cassie and Michael had a good Saturday and arrived safely in Xi’an. There was time for sightseeing that we wish we could do with them, but then we’ll feel more-strongly about that tomorrow when they’ll be seeing the Terracotta soldiers. Oh, wait – it is tomorrow for them already; and they are going to try and do a vid-chat during the reception while at the Terracotta museum and dig site; so that could be fun too if we’re still at the reception whenever they can time that without getting in the way of the reception schedule!
It’s time to wrap this up, but let’s quickly add that Aiden and I were very happy when we met up with our dates for the walk to the church; the weather was sunny and a bit too-hot this afternoon; and we’re glad that we didn’t need to be around for the photo shoot after the ceremony. The social hour before dinner will be starting soon; so that’s all we have for now. Anna Marie and Cal are very happy; we’ve loved getting to share in their special day; and we know that they are going to have an awesome future together.
Yes, we do know something about that; won’t be sharing; and you can always learn more about that – depending on how far into our future you’re reading this! For everyone else; we wouldn’t dream of spoiling any surprises! ;^)
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
