Ethan and Ehlana:
This is a quick and early update because we’re about to head over to Naomi’s house for the rest of the day. Our morning began with Tai Chi for four on the farm and a busy breakfast with Samantha’s family and the rest of the campers. Most of our friends packed up early and headed out, but we stayed to help with the full camp clean-up and then some farm chores with Samantha because we wanted to have that extra time and fun with her! Mom came and brought us home in time for lunch; and we’ve been doing yard chores at four homes since then – including Cassie and Michael’s place. We wanted to at least get the lawns mowed because we have baseball games and a wedding tomorrow; so we’re going to be a bit busy. There are some thunderstorm risks for tomorrow too, but we’ll hope for sun and warm at least for tomorrow afternoon!
We’re going to be spending the night at Naomi’s house, but the rest of our news from those adventures can wait for our next update. As for Cassie and Michael, they are just getting started on their Saturday, and while it is a travel day for them; getting to do a high-speed train trip to Xi’an will be awesome! They will also get to have time to do some sightseeing in one of the most-historic cities in China; so that will be awesome too. We should offer a commentary on both the technology and history in China, but maybe we can save that for another report; since we really do need to get going now. Stay tuned, since we’re going to be busy this weekend – and so will Cassie and Michael; so we’ll have a lot to write about – if we have time to do that!
