Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 11th Birthday, Joshua Reynolds!
Joshua’s birthday is the top news story for us today – though that is more-true for me; since Joshua had a guys-only party. Ehlana, Naomi, and some of the girls in our usual gang of friends had gifts for Joshua and we did a birthday lunch for him too, but I can assure you that they won’t be upset to have missed the party; since all of the usual ‘guy games’ were happening this afternoon and evening; Miles was happy to help Joshua with their version of extreme fun; and most of that entertainment would have annoyed the girls – or worse. I won’t suggest that Aiden and I don’t have fun with the other guys when they’re acting like normal tweens, but we have reputations for being boring and too-good by comparison; so our friends only put up with us because of the bakery treats and because we’re generally likeable despite our faults! ;^)
While the party was a lot of fun, I won’t get into the details. It wasn’t very warm out again today, so we opted for video games and other fun between the end of school and dinnertime; Pizzeria pizza was part of that meal along with bakery cakes and ice cream for dessert; and then there were more video games and a fairly-bad alien horror movie for the evening entertainment. Miles is the only guy staying the night with Joshua; so I’ll only add that our weekday party curfew was later than in past years – eleven o’clock.
While I was away, Ehlana had Naomi with her for a visit to the lab; dinner with Mom and Dad; and an evening that included a Magi lesson with both Moms followed by mini makeovers and a chick flick. Adding that news into the mix makes it definite that Ehlana and Naomi had more fun than they would have had at Joshua’s party.
The rest of our day included Tai Chi indoors and a standard school day breakfast. Our academic adventures didn’t include any news beyond the birthday fun already mentioned; and Ehlana wrapped up her evening while waiting for me to get home with some quality time in her Jacuzzi. Mom and Dad had already gone to bed by the time I got here; so Ehlana and I got right to our bedtime computing and twin chat. We’re both tired, so we kept the computer checks to a minimum; and won’t be getting into any world news tonight. It is nearly midnight too; so we’re going to wrap this up; crash; and get started on our nap time right now.
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
