Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 15th Birthday, Kara Johnson!
Our cousin has to wait a day to get her first-level driver’s license, but we’re sure she’s having a happy day – along with enjoying her spring break. We sent family gifts – as always, but didn’t chat with Kara this morning and only have her birthday news so far from Aunt Leanne and Brianna; since they did do a video chat with Kara and her family.
Our morning has been pretty good. Tai Chi was indoors at Aiden’s house; Olde Bakery treats were part of our breakfast food; and we had a video chat with Cassie and Michael – in-part because Mom and Dad didn’t try to do that with them instead this morning. We do not need to know why they chose alternate morning entertainment while kid-free! ;^)
Moving along, we were at church early; had fun during the first part of the service and Sunday school; and then we headed for our own homes for lunch. We’ll be doing that meal with Mom and Dad soon; and then we have a play afternoon booked with our friends, some cousins, and at least a handful of parents. We’re doing this update now because we’ll also have Naomi and Aiden here with us again so that we can also spend some time with Dad before he heads for the city tomorrow. The rest of the news for today will wait for our next report, but we are behind on the news from the past two days; so let’s do a quick update on all of that.
Friday’s family-and-friends’ dinner-and-movie adventures were awesome; and the highlights of our night included the pot-luck meal; the video gaming, the movie, and the co-ed sofa sleepover and bonus movie in the lounge. Our cousins were all doing sleepovers with friends too; so some parents got kid-free nights and others took care of the extra kids. Saturday began with Tai Chi and breakfast; we spent the morning doing chores at three homes; and then our afternoon and evening with Aiden and his family was awesome! We also had some babysitting to do last night while Aiden’s parents joined in on the dinner at the Inn and an hour or so at Sheldon’s with the other parents, but that wasn’t tough for us with Hailey, Leah, Brianna, and Faith to feed and entertain. The parents took pity on us and made other babysitting options for Zack, Eli, and the other guys; a Pizzeria pizza delivery took care of the main dinner option; and the girls picked the music and movie entertainment for the evening – with the music being a ‘live’ concert for an exclusive group of four fans. Brianna and Faith went home with Uncle Mark and Aunt Grace; Leah stayed with Hailey; and we wrapped up our night with another co-ed sofa sleepover.
That’s enough for today. The weather is warming again, so we’ll be playing and biking outdoors after lunch; and it will get up to around sixty degrees. That works for us, and while we don’t have any specific plans for tonight with Mom and Dad; we won’t be surprised if they decide on going to the Inn for dinner. We’ll let you know how that goes for us too with our next update, but it’s time to move on and get back to the fun with our family and friends; so we’re out of here.
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
