Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - March 14, 2022

Ethan and Ehlana:

Our Sunday adventures turned into something unexpected, and since that can end up being a lot of fun; we were happy to go along for the ride!

The afternoon play time ended up including a lot of people – including parents, cousins, and friends.  While we weren’t always together in one group – particularly for the biking parts of our play time; the park playground was where we gathered to hang out as a group; we had our afternoon snack break at the nearest picnic pavilion; and new plans for dinner and the evening were made too.  That’s why we had a very-large group for the late buffet dinner at the Inn; and how we ended up with Jaimie, Micah, Kaitlyn, and Jeremy at our house for the sleepover we’d already booked with Naomi and Aiden.

We got home from the amazing meal at the Inn by a bit after eight o’clock; the girls took turns in Ehlana’s or Mom’s Jacuzzis while the guys all opted for showers in the ‘guest’ bathrooms on the second and third floors; and the lounge was used for video gaming until the girls were all ready to watch a movie.  Co-ed cuddling during the show was on the sofa for the teens and under blankets with pillows on the floor for the two younger couples while Mom and Dad went to bed then after a quick visit with us so that Dad could get enough sleep ahead of his trip to Crystal Springs.  The girls picked the movie; we all had fun with the musical, cuddling, and chat time; and then the junior couples took over the lounge for the rest of the night – after getting teased about the co-ed sofa sleepovers while the teens had been assigned four separate rooms!  We had fun with that, but then we also know that only two of those rooms were occupied all night; and nothing more needs to be offered about that news. ;^)

The first week day of our spring break began early for six of us, but our cousins and their boyfriends did not wake up to see Dad before he hit the road.  Our visit with him was fairly-quiet, but we also helped to get his truck loaded; and we had a nice visit with him while he had breakfast.  The nap time that followed was co-ed again, but closer to just cuddling, dozing, and having a quiet chat until it was time to get up for Tai Chi.  We were able to do that by the river, since it only cooled down to around fifty degrees overnight.  After the workout, Aiden and I led the way to cooking up pancakes and sausages for breakfast; the top entertainment for that meal was a vid-chat with Cassie and Michael; and they had a lot of news for us that was mostly related to exams, Cassie’s T.A. duties that included marking a lot of exams over the weekend, and the post-exams parties and play time with their friends that they didn’t get as much time for as Rowen and Tim did.  Jeremy – and Kaitlyn – needed to get out to his family farms and greenhouses after breakfast, so Jaimie and Micah drove them out there and then went on to do their own thing for the rest of the day – including some work he had to do for his parents and ‘real’ job too.  We helped Mom with all of the chores that go along with having guests and extra cleaning and laundry to do; that kept us busy until late-morning; and then we packed a picnic lunch and went out to bike and play with our cousins and friends again.  The warm continued into the low-sixties this afternoon, so the outdoor adventures were awesome; and we stayed out until it was nearly dinnertime again.  Mom was booked with a gang of kids for tonight – all of our younger cousins, one or two friends for each of them, and our best friends.  Jaimie, Kaitlyn, and their boyfriends joined us for some play time, but had other plans for the rest of the night with teen friends and sleepovers with Micah’s and Jeremy’s families.  Mom opted for another Pizzeria pizza dinner; that worked for all of the kids; and then our evening included video gaming in the lounge and movies in the living room.  Aiden and I kept the guys busy with the gaming before and after dinner; joined the girls for the second movie; and there will not be co-ed sofa sleepovers tonight because the gaming is still going on in the lounge.

This update is happening while Naomi and Aiden are taking their turns in bathrooms to get cleaned up and ready for bed; the four of us will have a quick bedtime chat; and then Aiden and I will return to the video gaming and probably stay up later than the girls will – even if they do chat for a while with the other girls before getting some sleep.  We’ll let you know how that goes for all of us, but we need to move on soon; so that’s all for this report.

Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
