Ethan and Ehlana:
We are having a quiet day, and just for fun; let’s blame that on commiserating with Cassie, Michael, and their friends as they get ready for the start of their mid-terms tomorrow.
Tai Chi was indoors this morning because it was freezing again by then; it only warmed up to around fifty today; and it began to rain by shortly before dinnertime. Church and Sunday school kept us busy between breakfast and lunch; we opted to play at the lab or archives this afternoon; and then we went out to dinner at the Inn for the late buffet. We had that meal with quite a few members of our family and friends, so that was a highlight of the day; and then we came home and opted for early bath or Jacuzzi time without any extra work or studying. After a couple of late nights, we’re due for extra sleep; and that’s why we’re also keeping our bedtime computing and twin chat short.
Before we get to that nap time; we should at least offer a bit of world news – even though none of it is good. In Ukraine, the top stories include piling on more financial hardships that will hit normal citizens – like suspending major credit cards and other payment systems. The battle news from Ukraine generally needs to be taken with a large handful of salt, but regardless of the origins of the damages being inflicted around that country; everyone should care about the people being killed, injured, and tormented every day that the fighting continues. The truth might come out eventually – or not; so trying to focus on; and the leaders on each side usually have a vested interest in their own propaganda especially when it comes to admitting any atrocities that their side is responsible for causing. We don’t want to get into a rant again tonight; so we’ll just add that there hasn’t been anything happen to offer any hope for the situation on the ground in Ukraine; and our leaders are not doing anything to de-escalate the political situation.
Okay, it’s time to call it a night and get to sleep soon; so we’re out of here.
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
