Ethan and Ehlana:
It feels like fall today, and while that’s mostly thanks to the drop in temperature and rain; we’re seeing more of the annual signs of that transition; so we’re even-more grateful for all of the hot weather we got to have for the fall festival.
Thanks to the rain, our first school day of the week began with indoor Tai Chi and a hot breakfast; we got wet on the way to school; and our academic adventures were indoors because the rain didn’t start letting up until mid-afternoon. That, by the way, was a problem for the festival and midway tear-down; and that work will likely take most of an extra day to get done this week. We worked at the lab or archives after school; and then we had Grandma and Grandpa with us for dinner – our last chance to spend time with them without the entire family gang around before they head out on their trip on Wednesday morning.
Our evening activities included an unofficial family business meeting that Grandma and Grandpa stayed for; and then we worked for a couple of time-phased hours after our guests headed home.
That’s added up to a long, tiring day, and we don’t have anything else important to add to this report; so, until next time...
