Ethan and Ehlana:
We’ve had a really good day, but don’t really have much news. It was nice to have Dad home for Tai Chi by the river this morning; we had a long video chat with Cassie and Michael while having breakfast; and then the church service and Sunday school were kept short due to the heat. Cassie is working day and night ahead of her final exams on Monday, but that isn’t news – and nobody should doubt that she’ll earn top marks on the way to her Masters’ degree and beyond.
Mom opted for a light lunch while Dad got to work once we were home, and after taking yesterday off; Dad had to work all afternoon and evening to get ready for work tomorrow. Since he was busy with that and our best friends were with their own families today; we went to play at the lab and archives for a couple of hours; and then we had some biking, swimming, and play time with some of our friends until dinnertime. That meal was another short break for Dad; and then we’ve had a quiet night around here that included helping Mom with some chores around the house; some music play time; a Magi lesson; and then bath or Jacuzzi time.
Now we’re ready to get some sleep, and we don’t have anything to add; so, until next time...
