Happy 17th Birthday, Lindsay Faulkner!
We didn’t have any involvement in her happy day, but then our day has been far from birthday-party exciting thanks to a lot of rain and thunderstorms.
The wet weather arrived late this morning, so rain didn’t get in the way of a chores morning that went quickly because of the extra help from our cousins and some friends. Our grandparents collectively hosted a lunch at the Inn for all of the grandkids and some of our friends; and then we’ve been indoors for most of the day since then. For us, that included indoor gaming, music, and an afternoon movie with about a third of our cousins and friends; everyone except Naomi and Aiden were gone to other homes for the rest of the day by dinnertime; and we had a quiet dinner for six with Mom and Dad. Since then, we did a group Magi lesson with Mom; followed that up with a music jam session; and we’re now in the middle of a movie and cuddle night that is going to wrap up with a co-ed sofa sleepover for four of us! ;^)
We want to get started on the second movie now, and don’t really have anything else to add to this report; so, until next time...
