Ethan and Ehlana:
We’re writing another early update because our plans for the day include girls’ and guys’ nights; so we probably won’t get time to do this later this afternoon or tonight. We’re currently getting cleaned up before lunch – and after my ballgame; so there isn’t much to report so far for today.
Despite having a fairly-large gang of cheerleaders for our game, Aiden and I couldn’t help our team get the win over Taylor’s Tyrants. Yes, we played our best, but they were a bit better; and we won’t suggest that cutting the game short by an inning due to rain made a difference because it wouldn’t have been our turns at bat anyway if we’d been able to play that last inning anyway. We lost by one run and that is only a bit disappointing; so we’ll survive – and do that with less razzing than we got from our buddies because of the hugs and kisses from Naomi and Ehlana! ;^)
Moving along, we have a lot of rain in the forecast, but that will also likely be hit-and-miss throughout the rest of the day; so we’ll likely mix in outdoor and indoor play time to go along with the still-developing plans for the segregated sleepovers. We are going to be split up at various houses for lunchtime; and then we’ll wing it for the rest of the afternoon depending on the weather.
That’s news that can wait for our next report, though, and we’re nearly ready to head downstairs now anyway; so, until next time...
