Happy 10th Birthday, Sophia!
Happy 26th Birthday, Stephanie!
We hardly-ever think about Sophia and Stephanie being cousins now through Jake, but that connection does make their birthday adventures a bit more-interesting for their families. They’re also both having a happy day so far; though we have no details for Stephanie past a special breakfast at the Inn because Jake has taken her away for their days off this week – or more; since we haven’t heard whether they’ll be home by Friday morning or not.
Sophia and her family were at that birthday breakfast at the Inn, but we still had school; so most of her birthday fun is still ahead – including the party and dinner that Ehlana and Naomi will be attending very soon. That’s why this update is early – they’ll also be spending the night at Sophia’s along with a couple of other girlfriends; while my only involvement with Sophia’s special day was the lunch treats we had for her at school and the gift that Aiden and I went in on with Ehlana and Naomi. We’ll stop in to wish Sophia another happy birthday too, but then Aiden and I are going biking for a while to keep busy while our favorite girls are at the party. We may stick together for dinner with Mom and Dad too, but that isn’t confirmed yet; and then there is a good chance that we’ll be helping out with younger cousin and sibling control at the park while the parents and adult cousins have their baseball practices.
