Ethan and Ehlana:
We started our day early with seeing Dad off on his trip to the city – though May did not wake up for that; Tai Chi was by the river when we got around to that thanks to a break in the showers that continued on-and-off again today; and then breakfast was standard weekday fare. That meal was fun thanks to having our favorite collegians with us; and then we were off to school for our first round of academic fun and games of the week.
The top news of the day wasn’t really something we were involved with at all, but is getting some attention from our friends and neighbors. Michael and Tim brought their daily football training home with them from college; so it didn’t take long for word to get around that they’re hoping to make our college team this summer. Cassie and Rowen are having some fun helping them with that, but Michael and Tim will be getting help from Kyle and some other friends too while they’re home.
We’ll pick being at school over training against Kyle Landry! ;^)
Moving along, we had a good day at school, and while we were busy, Cassie, Michael, and May kept entertained with that football workout, play or work time with Mom, Jacob, and Miranda; and some babysitting time with Sierra. We didn’t entirely escape from some of the rain showers after school while Brianna, Faith, and their friends were busy with their ball practices, but that wasn’t enough rain to cancel the early practices; and we were at both because Cassie, Michael, and May were at the school and park for parts of both practices. They also went biking with us for a while, but only on the main trails because the trails in the woods at the park were all fairly-messy from all of the recent rain.
We were home with Mom and May for dinner, but Cassie and Michael had that meal with his parents and Sierra; and then they were busy with some friends this evening – and took May along for that blast of social fun. That worked for Mom because she could do our Magi lesson with us and we could study or work too. Wrapping that up by nine-thirty had everything to do with playing normal for May; we were ready for bed by the time she – and Cassie and Michael – got home; and we just finished up with a bedtime snack and chat. That’s why we don’t really have much to do now – including with our usual bedtime twin chat, and we don’t really have any news to add to this report; so, until next time...
