Happy 2nd Anniversary, Garrett and Jen!
We weren’t involved in any anniversary fun today, but Cassie and Michael were able to attend a breakfast party at the Inn before Garrett and Jen headed out on a 2-day getaway while Rebecca is here and can run the pizzeria.
The top news for our day is that Mom is in the city with Dad tonight; and we have Cassie, Michael, and May taking care of us while she’s away. That hasn’t been tough for them, since we still had baseball practices and our pizzeria pizza picnic after school, but we also got a bit wet when we weren’t able to completely dodge the rain showers between the end of classes today and when we finished up our baseball practice early because of stronger showers that also led to cancelling the evening practices.
Getting wet is also why we’ve opted for showers or Jacuzzi time since getting home; and we’re doing this update before wrapping up our day with a movie in the lounge that our babysitters will take turns watching with us while Cassie and May take turns using Ehlana’s Jacuzzi. Cassie and Michael also stopped in for bedtime cuddles with Sierra on the way home; and we’ll get away with a late school night with May thanks to the parent-free night.
We need to move on and get everything ready for that movie now, and don’t really have anything newsworthy to add for this update; so, until next time...
