Heirs of the Magi News Flash!

***Heirs of the Magi News Flash!*** The annual fall festival is now behind us, and Cassie and Michael are heading out on their fall trip - this time to the South Pacific! They'll miss out on the Halloween fun at home and the rest of the high school football season, but all of that time in tropical paradises will likely be worth those little sacrifices! Some favorite grandparents will be away for adventures in Arizona or elsewhere too, but our favorite Magi staying at home are sure to have a lot of fun anyway. We'll have all of the adventure highlights from home and away right here for you each day; so... ...Visit Witch Falls often to keep up with all of our latest stories; and Happy Reading! P.S. Thank-you to everyone enjoying our stories from Witch Falls as we have passed five-hundred thousand views!

Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - May 17, 2025

Ethan and Ehlana:

We’ve had a long, tiring chores day that has been all about getting ready for the holiday weekend.  Naomi and Aiden worked with us, so we had chores to do at five homes and several cottages – which is why we were kept busy all day through until we wrapped up and had a late dinner with five sets of parents and some cousins.  We didn’t set up any sleepovers.  Ehlana and I have had a quiet evening since then; bath or Jacuzzi time started after just a short visit with Mom and Dad once our guests had gone home and the clean-up work from dinner was finished.  How we’re ready to crash and nap.

Before we do that, the family-and-friends’ dinner, campfire, and camping were all amazing and fun last night.  Naomi and the Haunted Harmonies shared almost an hour of music to the campfire cause, and if we get decent weather for a campfire over the holiday weekend; we’ve already been drafted for a repeat performance.  There were campfire stories; more music; and toasted treats through until the fire was put out at eleven-thirty; and then we stayed up around the tents until later than we should have because it took hours to get the last of the kids and tweens off to sleep so that some of us could share co-ed camping!

That is partly why we’re so tired now, so we’re going to skip the news tonight because nothing serious has changed anyway – as usual.  We are one day closer to having Cassie and Michael home, so that’s great; and that’s all we have for this report.  We hope that your ‘now’ is as happy as we are – and if you’re as-tired as we are right now too; feel free to have a nap now as well! ;^)

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
