Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy 41st Birthday, Uncle Mark!
That birthday was the entertainment highlight of our day, but we had a good start to our morning with Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom and Dad; and then our school day was good too and uneventful except for bonus outdoor time that we enjoyed a lot. We didn’t end up having any afternoon showers, and the high hit ninety; so we went biking with our friends after school – along with some cousins; and then we got home in time to help with the birthday dinner work. The social time for that meal didn’t really get started until six o’clock as some of the guests finished work; we sat down to eat at around six-thirty; and the culinary adventure rolled on until a bit after eight o’clock by the time we finished with the usual birthday fun and desserts. Ehlana and I were on the clean-up crew; Uncle Mark and Aunt Grace got a kid-free night thanks to Brianna and Sebastian; and we came home with Mom and Dad where we’ve been working most of the time since then except for our just-finished bath or Jacuzzi break. We used time phasing to get more done – including a Magi lesson and charity work; and we needed more ‘real time’ hours for online work. That’s why it is Thursday morning as we write this update; and we’re getting very tired.
That’s while we are going to skip a world and political news report, but then most of the news is about what might happen over the next few days; and that speculation is pointless. We’ll wait to see whether any diplomacy happens at all and then if it does; whether anything real will happen on the ground with the wars and conflicts that haven’t changed at all despite all of the talk so far. We’ll let you know how that goes, but that’s all for tonight and we’re off to dreamland now.
