Ethan and Ehlana:
We’ve had a good day, but we’re tired; so this is going to be a quick report.
Tai Chi by the river and breakfast this morning with Mom and Dad were great; our academic adventures were good; and then we went biking on the trails with our friends again after we were set free for the day because the weather was really great again with sun and a high in the eighties. Dinner was grilled with cold salad sides that Naomi and Aiden stayed with us for and then we went to game night with Mom and Dad and had a blast with family and friends for a couple of hours. Silkie went with us for the walk to see Naomi and Aiden to their homes; and then bath or Jacuzzi time was next because Mom didn’t want us to work late again tonight. That’s worked for us; and we’re nearly ready to crash and nap for the rest of the night.
Before we do that, a quick news update is needed. The Russian-Ukrainian peace talks haven’t happened yet; ‘our’ side messed around all day with a lot of nonsense while the Russian delegation waited around all day and got nothing done. The Ukrainian-led drama was total nonsense; and it is only surprising that the Russian leaders didn’t walk away and continue to do their ‘talking’ on the battlefield. There has, apparently, also been an official peace proposal delivered to Iran by our government, but details are not out there yet; and are likely just more demands that amount to the same demands for complete capitulation by Iran that isn’t very likely to be accepted by the Iranians. All of that adds up to more talk and no action while some of our world leaders are happier to focus on money and making deals that will make rich people even wealthier. Starving and killing thousands every day just isn’t as-important as agreements for trillions of dollars of trade and investment!
It’s time to stop that before I get going on a rant. We’ve had a good day; hope that we’ll have an awesome weekend; and need to get some sleep to be ready for those adventures – so we will!
