Ehlana and Ethan:
We had fun with our respective nights and sleepovers with Naomi or Aiden and their families; that includes the dinner and breakfast meals; and was still-true for Ethan and Naomi even though they also ended up having Eli and Zack with the Seagers for the night too. Sure, Leah was with Hailey last night too, but we always have fun with them; and I love those chances to hang out with them when that isn’t also with a gang of family or friends. The church service and Sunday school was good too; and we’re helping the teens to get ready for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday services – which for today included first work on Christmas sets for the annual Christmas show that this year isn’t exactly a cantata, but is a show with lots of music to go with the drama segments.
Ethan and I were tempted to play at the lab this afternoon, but it was nice out today with a high in the sixties again; so we ended up playing and biking with friends and cousins – including Jayden – until it was time to go to the Inn for the early buffet. The parents picked that time this week so that Kaitlyn and her family could still hit the road for home early-enough for a school night. We actually got to hang out with Kaitlyn, Jeremy, and Jayden during that meal; so we had a lot of fun; and then they headed for home without Jeremy; and we went home with Mom and Dad. We’ve done some work in the office since then through to bath or Jacuzzi time, but we also used a time phase to get done early; since Dad will be heading to Crystal Springs in the morning with Anna Marie; so we’ll be up early to see them off on their trip.
Cassie and Michael are starting their journey home and have their trans-Atlantic flight on Monday night, but then they are fitting in two visits with friends along the way home before getting here on Friday. We’re really looking forward to them getting here and then being home for the rest of the year and through the holidays; so the coming school week is just a way to keep busy until then! We will be busy too; so that’s all for this report. Another awesome weekend is in the (journal) books; it is time to re-charge now; and we’ll be at full-power by morning – even with that early start to the day!
