Ehlana and Ethan:
Happy 15th Birthday, Nicole Johnson!
Ethan and I haven’t had anything to do with Nicole’s special day beyond helping out with the gifts that were sent, but we are also noticing fifteenth birthdays more this year as we get closer to that milestone and will be able to get our first-level driving licenses. We do already know that Nicole passed her tests today; and has driven a couple of times with parental supervision. She’s had a dinner and party with family and friends too; so we’ll hope that her day has been amazing!
Compared to birthday fun, our day has been quiet and uneventful. It was sunny today, but that isn’t as much fun with highs in the fifties; and we didn’t have much outdoor time. Our academic adventures extended beyond our school day because we brought some friends home to study and work on a project. Naomi and Aiden also stayed for dinner; and then we all headed to the Inn for game night – our entertainment highlight of the day; and then we went home with Mom and Dad and have been working in the office since then. Time phasing was involved with the work and we still worked until midnight in real time; so it is late and we’re really tired now. We did get a lot done, though, so the effort was worth it.
Finally, before we go and get some sleep; Cassie and Michael are now in Morocco – the last country in Africa on their itinerary. Along with the work they have booked, they are going to take about a day in total for fun and sightseeing, and while they’ll still be away for another week; we’re really looking forward to having them home and safe again. I am not going to offer any news commentary tonight; and we’re sure that the world will not stop due to the shock! Having a nap sounds a lot better than writing yet another rant on anything, though, and that’s what I really want to do now too; so we’re out of here.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
