Ehlana's and Ethan's Journal - November 15, 2024

Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 2nd Birthday, Georgia McEwan!

We hope that our cousin is having a happy day with her family, but other than sending a family gift; we haven’t been involved in her special day.  The weather is nice with a high topping sixty by a hair or two and sunny; so we’re also doing an early update because we’ll be busy with our family and friends for the rest of the day.  Our academic adventures have been good, but not newsworthy as we’ve wrapped up another school week.  We’re going out to play with our friends now; Mom and Dad are hosting a family-and-friends’ dinner-and-movie night; and we’re going to have a co-ed sleepover with our four best friends after that – which is why we won’t be doing this update later tonight.

We can still report that Uncle Blaine and Aunt Alison are already here for the weekend and he’s had meetings today while Kaitlyn is now on the way here with Jayden after school; and we’ll be helping to celebrate her birthday tomorrow.  There is some news for Jayden too, but we haven’t passed that along to our friends yet; since he’ll want to advise Susan in-person that he won’t be able to hang out with her here anymore because he has an official girlfriend back at home.  No, she isn’t coming here too, but that doesn’t matter; and Jayden isn’t interested in having a girl in every town – or more than one at a time.  Susan likes Jayden a lot, and we’ll be there as needed for our friend, but we also knew they were never a match; so this change was inevitable.

Ethan and I have a limited amount of time to bike and play with our friends before we need to be home again to help Mom with the work around here; so that’s all we have for today.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
