Ehlana, Ethan, Naomi, and Aiden:
Contrary to popular belief; life in our country has not stopped while waiting to get final results from the election.
In fact, we’ve had a good day after a fun night; the weather has been great again; and we’re having another co-ed sleepover tonight – this time at our house instead of Aiden’s. Dad’s birthday dinner was entertaining – though we – the kids – missed out on most of the roasting while having dinner in the sunroom. The dining room was full with the adults; and they had some different dinner options while we were given kid-favorite options. There was some family time after dinner – while the clean-up was going on, but then we headed for Aiden’s house where we watched a movie and enjoyed the co-ed cuddle time before we fell asleep.
Tai Chi by the river at Aiden’s house was good; we had a basic school day breakfast; and then the nice weather led to lots of outdoor time while at school. We did half of our lessons outdoors too; so it was a pretty good day that got better once we were set free; since we were able to go biking on the trails for a couple of hours with our friends. Dinner was late because Dad got stuck at the office with a late appointment, but that worked for us too. Naomi and Aiden stopped in at their homes for overnight bags; and we were ready for the evening in the lounge before we sat down to dinner.
This update is early because we’re waiting for Mom to do a Magi lesson with us; and then we’ll take the rest of the night off from studying too. A music practice will follow the Magi lesson; and then we’ll move on to a movie and our favorite co-ed cuddling fun. Compared to all of that; even writing about politics or other serious news doesn’t seem entertaining at all; so we won’t do that tonight.
It isn’t as though anyone actually cares about what a bunch of kids thinks about any of our national leaders anyway; so we’ll just wrap this up and get back to the fun!
