Ehlana, Naomi, and Brianna:
It’s girls’ night at the Proctors’ house – Brianna’s reward for her sacrifice of putting up with Zack and Eli last night.
Our home-school day was split between a morning session with Liz – aka Naomi’s Mom – at the Seagers; and then an afternoon with Mom once she got back from the city. She brought fast food back for Aunt Leanne, but joined us for lunch; and then brought us home. We studied until nearly three today – mostly because it took that long to get everything done; and then we were set free to play. Naomi and I went biking with our favorite boys, but we only did that for an hour and then split up for the rest of the day.
Girls’ night included pizzeria pizza for dinner; a Magi lesson with Mom; some music fun; and mini-makeovers that were mixed in with Jacuzzi baths for all of us. We’re now wrapping up our day with a bedtime girl chat and movie; and then we’ll get some sleep – eventually. That’s all we have for today; and we’ll leave the guy side of the news to those two favorite boys that we aren’t cuddling with tonight because that would be against the rules for a girls-only night! ;^)
Ethan and Aiden:
We are not having a guys’ night at the Drapers – Leah is here for the night with Hailey for best-friend support; though that isn’t for the same reason that Naomi likes help when Zack is at her house with his best friend. After getting here from our biking fun at the park; we’ve had a quiet evening. Dinner included ‘real’ food instead of pizzeria pizza, but we got to have bakery desserts – as usual; and lasagna is a kid-favorite too. We didn’t have Magi lessons or music time, but we did have some family board game time before Aiden’s parents headed for bed; the girls moved on to watching a movie in Hailey’s room; and we’ve been playing video games in Aiden’s room on our portable systems. There were no mini-makeovers or Jacuzzi baths either, since not only would either be news; we’d never live that sort of thing down with our buddies.
It’s a guy thing – deal with it! ;^)
That is also all we have for tonight, and while we may end up staying awake longer than the girls; they’ve apparently fit more fun into their evening; so we might still end up being equally-rested by morning.
Then again, anyone who knows Brianna would expect all of the girls at our house to be more-tired by tomorrow. We can compare notes at school and let you know, but we’re done here; and going back to the gaming again until we are ready to crash and nap.
