Ehlana and Ethan:
Tai Chi by the river was warmer for all of us this morning – and more-fun for the girls-only workout that Aunt Leanne joined in on while leaving the boys to fend for themselves at her house through breakfast and until we headed for school or work. The weather got better through the day, so we had fun at school as the temperature climbed into the seventies; and then we went biking on the park trails again after being set free for the day. Naomi and Aiden came home with us for a music practice; Mom did a group Magi lesson with us; and then they headed for their homes and we all had late dinners for different reasons.
By the time we cleaned up from our meal, we only made time for a bit of work or studying in the office; followed that up with Jacuzzi or bath time; and now we’re getting ready for an early bedtime because we all want to be back at full-power in time for the weekend – and the start of fall break for Cassie, Michael, and their college friends! Dad will be home too; we have a home-school Friday; and a family-and-friends’ dinner-and-movie night to help get the weekend off to a great start too; so we’re excited about all of that and ready to really get into the holiday season now.
That’s also why we’ll skip any commentary on the usual worldwide bad news again tonight. We continue to keep up with that news, and wish for better for everyone, but our options for really making a difference with those biggest problems are limited; so we’ll settle for sharing and spreading love and joy here at home with all of our favorite people.
Maybe the concept will catch on and become a new pandemic that sweeps the world with a highly-infective happiness. Now that would be an awesome Christmas miracle! ;^)
An early bedtime feels like a mini-miracle for us, but won’t happen if we keep this twin-chat and journal update time going all night, so that’s all; we’re out of here; and will soon be off to dream land.
