Ehlana and Ethan:
Our day began very frosty, and while we still went out to the river for Tai Chi; it was still a shock to have the temperature drop below freezing again after so much nice weather. The cold affected our school day; and we ended up staying indoors for everything except lunchtime and gym class. It didn’t really warm up compared to the past couple of weeks, but we still went out biking after school for a while; and then came home early for a music practice with Naomi and Aiden. We’re thinking about doing something for the Christmas concert – and maybe at church too, but we didn’t pick any specific songs; and we plan on listening to a lot of music over the next week or so before doing that.
It’s likely too-early to get the teens and tweens to take us seriously for a school dance; so our dreams of having the next popular local band are a bit premature too! ;^)
Naomi and Aiden headed for their homes at dinnertime; and the rest of our day has been normal for a school night. We had dinner with Mom and Dad; took care of the clean-up; and then studied until a bit after nine. Bath or Jacuzzi time followed the work, but we’d already had enough music fun; so it still isn’t too late to get a decent night of sleep too. That’s all we have for today, and we’re going to skip other news again today because we don’t want to take darker thoughts into dreamland with us. Getting to be happy kids without the worries of the world is a gift that we’re grateful for having; so we’ll leave the serious, grown-up worries to others – at least for tonight.
