Ehlana and Ethan:
Brianna’s birthday dinner and the rest of
the fun last night was awesome; we stayed up too-late; and have been enjoying a
quieter day today while resting up from yesterday. It was still hot today, but rain and
thunderstorms moved into the area late this afternoon and will be here
overnight; so we packed up our campsite and will move to our back yard whenever
we have the next blast of camping fun.
We also biked, canoed, swam, and played a lot too – just with more
relaxing than we’ve had for the past week or so.
We also aren’t going to have any overnight
guests – mostly because the visiting cousins are elsewhere for the night – with
grandparents or aunts and uncles. That’s
entirely because Cassie’s busy with her online classes and studies tonight, but
we’ll get our turn sometime this weekend before she heads for her townhouse
again on Sunday or Monday. We’re okay
with the break tonight – and the Seagers and Drapers are glad to have their
kids home for a night too; though they’ve enjoyed the kid-free nights too.
That’s all for today; since we’ve decided
not to comment on any teen drama or other similar news of the past couple of
days. We will have more on that
eventually, since there are definitely more local guys and girls interested in
our visiting cousins, but we’re also ready for a break from that too. Cassie is going to be busy tonight, but we’re
going to try and spend some time with Michael and May after dinner when we don’t
have to share them with a large gang.
Before we get to that, we still have dinner to get to next; so it’s time
for us to move on and help Mom with the pre-dinner work – starting right...
about... now.
