Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - July 11, 2020

Ehlana, Ethan, Naomi, and Aiden:

We’re actually having an end-of-day update; and that isn’t just because it gives us an excuse to hang out together in one tent and have some co-ed cuddle time! ;^)

Starting with last night; our girls’ sleepover adventure was more-fun than it was for the boys; and that’s confirmed by a unanimous vote.  Yes, the guys had fun too, but they also had to put up with Zack and Eli at their best-worse while trying to impress both the older and younger guys with their practical jokes, pranks, and feats of junior guy contests.  While they played video games until early this morning; the girls went to sleep earlier than that; and spent the time we were together enjoying mini-makeovers, a lot of girl-chat time, and we watched Hallmark Christmas-in-July movies.  Add in some music and games; and we had a really good night!

Moving on, thanks to ongoing rain, our morning at both houses began indoors – including for separate Tai Chi workouts.  The girls had more fun with that too because we got to have Brianna and Aunt Leanne with us while half of the guys slept through and missed the morning workout.  It didn’t rain non-stop, so we were able to spend some time outside, but we also did some chores this morning at all family homes; and then the weather started clearing up into the afternoon.  It took time for the great outdoors to start drying up again, but it did; and we had fun with the biking, park adventures, and swimming in the river.  We also set up another campground – this time at our house; and we have another fairly-large group including friends for most of the cousins.  We had a barbeque dinner with most of the parents and some siblings of the campers; that meal was spread out all around the back yard to keep the social distancing too; and then our campfire was at three campfires for the same reason.  That was more-entertaining tonight because we were one of the entertainment groups that spent time at all three campfires as we rotated music and stories entertainers for all of the guests.  Cassie and Michael are better than we are, but we’re more-adorable, so if there had been a vote for best entertainers; we’d have won.

The campfire was the best part of our day, but then we can’t complain about the rain or anything else – especially compared to the problems around the world.  Naomi doesn’t want us to get into that tonight; so we won’t; and that’s pretty much all we have for tonight.  We’re not saying that just because we’re more-interested in the uninterrupted co-ed cuddling – that’s just an added bonus!

It is time to wrap this up, so we’ll do that; and let you know whether we end up having a totally-unplanned co-ed sleepover to go along with the cuddling tonight. ;^)

This is Ehlana and Ethan Proctor; live from the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
