Ehlana's and Ethan's Journals - July 23, 2020

Ehlana and Ethan:

Happy 22nd Birthday, Erica Bassett!

We had nothing to do with her special day, but she is one of Michael’s – and Cassie’s – cousins; so we’ll at least mention the news.

For us, the bigger news is that we have the Malloys in town for a long weekend – or will soon; since this update is being written before they get here – and while our besties are busy getting ready for moving our camping adventures to our back yard from Naomi’s place.  We still need to write about yesterday too, though; so let’s back up and do that.

After Naomi ‘took custody’ of us and Mom headed for the city; we had an awesome play day that included biking the trails; swimming; and back yard play time.  Naomi’s Dad cooked burgers and hot dogs for lunch; went with pizzeria pizza for dinner; and we set up tents in the back yards for the Seager’s and Carrington’s homes – with the two locations meant to separate us from Zack and Eli.  We had fun last night – even with the pranking attempts by the younger boys, but didn’t have a co-ed sleepover too because Naomi and I ended up with Brianna and Faith in our tent while Ethan and Aiden were kept busy with the other guys – including some late-night video gaming in their tents.

Today has been a play day repeat since breakfast and some chores time – including packing up the tents.  We’ve just finished setting up tents in our back yard for tonight – or the weekend; depending on the weather.  Mom is home now, and we helped with unloading the minivan; Dad will be home by dinnertime; and the Malloys will be here by then too.  Uncle Terry and Aunt Angela have their anniversary tomorrow; so they’ll be at the Inn while celebrating their special day; and we’ll take care of Valerie and Marcus.

We really are just writing this while multi-tasking getting ready for the camping, though, and need to get back to helping Mom with the work before dinner and getting ready for our guests; so we need to wrap this up and get back to the real world.

Stay tuned; since the next few days are sure to be a lot of fun!

This is Ehlana and Ethan Proctor; live from the hidden home of the Magi of the Light – and May the Magi Force be with you!
