Ethan:
This update is coming to you live from
Grandma and Grandpa’s house.
We had a fun morning that included saying
goodbye to Mom before Ehlana and I headed for school – though she didn’t leave
until a bit later in the morning. Our
school day was uneventful, but we had fun; and then moved on to a play
afternoon with our friends that was based from our grandparents’ house too; and
they were prepared for the small gang of kids – including with snacks and
drinks that we had out on the front porch or in the yard before going for a
bike ride on the trail around town for the long way to the park and the trails
there. Add in a cool-down swim and some
playground entertainment; and that pretty much covers our news through until we
had dinner with Grandma and Grandpa.
At the risk of taking a hit to my fledgling
reputation; Ehlana and I always have fun with our grandparents and we love them
a lot. Our time with them tonight was
filled with quieter fun, but that included some Magi-powered play time that was
more about showing them some of the latest ‘tricks’ we’ve been learning from
Mom; and we watched a movie before our pre-bedtime baths that were needed
thanks to the biking on the park trails.
Our bedtime is earlier, but staying up and reading in the archives is an
option and I don’t have anything else to add to this report; so I’ll move on
and do that until I am ready to get some sleep.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
Ethan only skipped over some kid drama that’s
going on between some of our friends – continuing from the problems that
happened last Friday. That isn’t unusual
or really even news; so I’m only mentioning it because we don’t usually write
about it in our journals when we do have these smaller, ongoing conflicts among
our friends. Things usually get worked
out within a week or two at most, since it’s tough to stay mad at anyone you
need to be in close contact with every day – or in a small town, but it can
make our lives complicated; and that’s especially-true because Ethan, Aiden,
Naomi, and I are usually called on to be the mediators or go-betweens for the
fighting friends.
I don’t have any news tonight for Cassie or
Mom, and while Cassie has a night class too; we don’t need to know whether they
have similar reasons for not feeling the need to chat with us tonight! ;^)
That’s all I have too, since Ethan has the
rest of the news covered, so I’m going to move on to some lab report reading;
and then call it a night and get some sleep.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
