Ethan:
Our day started out with bonus fun thanks
to our extra exercise buddy – including for my wake-up call from Brianna and
the Tai Chi by the river. The chores for
most of the day weren’t as much fun – though we do manage to enjoy the family
time; and then Ehlana and I were set free for some afternoon play time with our
friends before we came home to pack our overnight bags for our sleepovers at
Naomi’s and Aiden’s houses respectively.
We just finished doing that and won’t be
taking our computers along tonight; so the rest of our news of the day will
have to wait until the next report – though few or no details of Mom and Dad’s
kid-free night will be provided here! ;^)

Ehlana:
The chores around the house and yard don’t
include cutting the grass, since that job continues to be hired out to Ryan and
some of his buddies since Cassie left for college, but we’re starting on fall
chores; and there are other jobs to do – like washing Dad’s truck and Mom’s
minivan. Add in some work on canoes and
bikes that we won’t likely need until Thanksgiving – or not until next spring,
depending on the weather this year, along with the gardening and the rest; and
we were kept busy until mid-afternoon.
Ethan didn’t mention that Brianna was with us for the first couple of
hours before Aunt Leanne picked her up, but then she was with me most of that
time while Ethan had some father-son work time.
Our biking and play time with our friends wasn’t for very long, but we
had fun with Naomi, Aiden, and the few other friends we met up with on the
trails; and now we’re ready for our night out with our friends too.
We’ll likely have lots more to cover in
that next update – especially if Naomi and I end up dealing with Zack and Eli
tonight too, but that’s all for now; and I have a play night and sleepover with
Naomi to get to now; so I’m out of here.
