Ethan:
Our last few hours with Cassie, Michael,
Rowen, and Tim went by far too-quickly this morning. Another Tai Chi workout was followed by
packing up; so chat time; and then we headed out for breakfast again at the
same restaurant. We took our time with
that meal; and then it was time to head for home because Jacob and Miranda
needed to be home in time for the buffet shift at the Inn. Aiden and I went in the truck with Dad and
Jacob for the first half of the trip – and then Dad took a different route up
to Crystal Springs for his week in the city while the rest of us went in the
minivan for the rest of the trip home.
I’m sure that Ehlana will be happy to point
out that I ended up in the back seat with her – and Naomi; and that some
cuddling with Naomi was involved during those last couple of hours and change
of our trip. The hours of sitting
translated into a fair but of busy once we got home. Jacob and Miranda were dropped off first; and
we helped out with their luggage before moving on to Naomi’s and Aiden’s homes
and repeating the process – along with some visits at each home. Mom only had Ehlana and me with her for the
last round of work once we were home, but once we got the unpacking done and a
load of laundry started; we took a small fast food order over to Aunt Leanne
and had a visit with her until heading home again for an easy-dinner for three.
We worked and studied in the office after
that; moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time after that; and I’m the only one in bed
right now because I don’t usually stay in the tub for as long as my favorite
girls do when soaking in their Jacuzzis.
It feels very quiet here compared to the busy of the past few days, but
that’s better than having more problems with Gwyneth or her goons; so we should
be happy that they haven’t just launched some equally-horrid back-up plan to
come after any of us while they were in the area.
That is all of the news I have for
tonight. Ehlana can handle the ongoing
drama news we heard about from Cassie; and I’ll just get started on my nap.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
That seems fair; since you’ve pretty much
covered our travel and home news.
After we left, our four favorite collegians
went to church; had lunch; and then went to the college library for their study
session. Cassie had hoped for the best,
but wasn’t surprised when Philippe tried to study with them despite being told
to leave her alone. She walked away and
went to study with Madelana and May, but Michael and Tim had to intervene to
keep Philippe from escalating the drama.
That was for his own good, but Philippe didn’t see it that way; and had
some stupid insults for Michael and Tim.
Philippe wasn’t going to take ‘no’ for an answer from them either, but
after Michael and Tim offered to go along and take video of Philippe’s attempt
to ‘explain’ to Cassie that he’d only been joking about her being the girl of
his dreams that he couldn’t save from a horrid fate by marrying a total loser
of a guy – and then show it to all of their friends; he changed his mind about
that and left Cassie alone – if only for the rest of the day.
That drama isn’t over, but Philippe better
get a clue before he really does go too far and Cassie ends up dealing with him
in a more-serious sort of way. This
problem isn’t nearly as serious as our problems with Gwyneth Hathorne, but it’s
still wrong and ridiculous; and Cassie and Michael are both at the end of their
patience with her unwanted suitor-stalker.
I’m sure we’ll have more on this, since Philippe appears to be getting
desperate instead of accepting reality; so stayed tuned for more on that story.
I’m multi-tasking this while in my Jacuzzi,
but it’s time for me to get out and ready for bed, and I don’t have anything
else to add to this report; so wrap this up and get on with the rest of my
bath-and-bedtime routine.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
