Ethan:
We’re starting the shortest day of the
month; and this might end up being another short update because there just
isn’t much to write about. We had a good
last day of the school week; some play time with our friends until it was time
for family and friends dinner and a movie night; and then Ehlana and I didn’t
have our best friends with us for that because they actually, occasionally,
need to do things with their own families – and without us! I know, that’s shocking, but it happens; and
we managed to muddle through and have a bit of fun without them. That meal and movie was at the Everett’s home
this week; Ehlana and I played with our cousins in between the meal and movie;
and Brianna and Faith picked the animated movie that I won’t write about
because there are some really bad kids’ movies out there too along with the
really good ones; and I don’t want to pick on one that some of my younger
cousins still thought was fun – if in a bad-funny sort of way.
We haven’t been home for long; our bedtime
snack included a short vid-chat with Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim; and now
we’re all heading for our beds. The
excitement level hasn’t started to kick up yet for us even though we’re just
two weeks away from Valentine’s Day, but I’m sure that it will; so I’ll take
the extra rest when I can get it – like right now.

Ehlana:
This really has been a quiet start to
February – and not just for us. Cassie
had classes all day; came home and cooked dinner for four with help from Rowen;
and then it has been a study and work night for them. We did hear that Serena is out on her first
date with Shayne, so it’ll be fun to find out how her first ‘geek’ date went
whenever we get that update sometime this weekend.
Okay, the boys won’t care, but maybe Ethan
should, since he’s going to be a librarian when he grows up; and that is a
fairly-geeky job! ;^)
I know, you’ll be an archivist, Ethan, but
why let that distinction get in the way of a bit of fun? Naomi also doesn’t care about what your
future job is going to be; and she’ll make sure that your life isn’t boring!
I don’t actually have any news to add to
this update, so I’m going to wrap this up too; and get the extra sleep too.
