Ethan:
Multiple sleepovers on one weekend works
out great for the kids! Naomi’s Dad was
in charge of dinner – and we were all happy with the Pizzeria pizza and Olde
Bakery desserts! Naomi’s Mom had a long
day at the salon; which had a lot to do with why she fell asleep during the
first movie of the night; and then we – the kids – were on our own to watch
shows and then eventually go to bed whenever we wanted – as long as we still
got up on time for breakfast and church; and didn’t complain about being too-tired
for anything.
That isn’t usually ever a problem for
Ehlana or me; but we still managed to get to sleep before midnight after having
a really fun evening.
Aiden’s parents and sister came over for
breakfast this morning; we had fun at church and Sunday school; and then Naomi
and Aiden had family time for the rest of the day; so Ehlana and I went to play
at the lab after having lunch with Mom and Dad.
Mom came along to play while Dad got his weekend work done; we had a
quiet dinner for four after the work-play afternoon; and didn’t have much of
anything going on tonight other than a Magi lesson and watching a bit of
television before coming upstairs for the night. I only grabbed a shower tonight, but Ehlana’s
in her Jacuzzi; and there’s a good chance that I’ll be sleeping before she gets
out.
We’ve had a good weekend, if a quiet one,
but we’ll get busier now as we head into February. Valentine’s Day will be part of that, but
Cassie’s birthday is coming up too; and we may even get to visit our favorite
collegians if we can fit that into the schedule between now and when they’ll be
home for spring break.
That’s all I have for tonight, though, so I’ll
go get some sleep now; and let Ehlana take over with her news, thoughts, or
whatever else she had for us tonight.
Ethan – out!

Ehlana:
I love my Jacuzzi! ;^)
Have I mentioned that lately?
Yes, but that’s still my thought for the
day; and I don’t have anything to add to Ethan’s report; so I’m just going to
get back to enjoying the hot, soothing, bubbly fun for one in my tub.
This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live
from what is now my past!
