Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - January 14, 2019

Ethan:

Happy Birthday, Naomi!

Saying goodbye to Cassie, Michael, May, Rowen, and Tim this morning was tough; so the birthday fun helped to make up for that – especially Naomi’s party after school and earlier this evening.  Ehlana’s there for the night too; and I won’t comment on the jokes about Naomi making birthday wishes about sleepovers with me instead – with the first of those jokes a faux-warning from her mother right before Naomi blew out her candles.

We had fun at the party – even the guys that pretended it wasn’t cool to be at a girl’s birthday party; and then I came home at a bit after eight because it’s a school night; so partying all night wasn’t an option.  Naomi loved her gifts; the guys – including Zack and Eli – managed to get through the party without seriously messing things up for her; and I’m sure that Naomi and Ehlana will have fun with their sleepover too.

While they’re doing that, I came home, did a Magi lesson with Mom; and a bit of ‘real’ studying and archive readying.  Now I’m ready to crash and nap; get some rest; and try not to dream too much about sleepovers with Naomi. ;^)

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

Happy Birthday, Naomi!

Ethan’s right; and Naomi’s birthday and party really has helped us a lot with keeping busy and entertained while we’re missing Cassie.

I don’t really want to even think about that, and have a sleepover to get back to anyway; so I guess that I’m going to have another short report tonight so that I can keep having fun and not take the time to be sad at all.

Ethan and I do want to thank Naomi for helping us to have such an awesome day, though; and now we’ll just have to wait and see how many years will go by before Ethan can pay her back by making that co-ed sleepover wish that Naomi may or may not have made come true!

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
