Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - January 15, 2019

Ethan:

Other than starting the day without Ehlana; life has returned to normal around here today.  We had a good day at school; worked at the lab and archives after that; had a late dinner; and then wrapped up our day with a Magi lesson with Mom and some studying in the office.

That’s all I have for today, and I’m ready to get some sleep; so I’ll just wrap this up and get right to the napping.

Ethan – out!

Ehlana:

Naomi and I had a fun morning at her house – including some bonus dress-up play time with her Mom; and then we moved on to have a good day at school.  I was happy to get back to the lab, and while I don’t have any news to report while we’re doing some fairly-tedious research; I always have fun – even when it doesn’t seem as though we’re making any progress at all.

I’ll add a bit of news from Cassie’s world.  They did the book run to get what they’d need for the coming semester; there was a round of supplies and fun shopping after that; and then they’ve started in on their advance-reading to get ready for their new classes next week.  May’s staying with Cassie and Rowen until the Residential Halls open on Friday again, so there aren’t likely any roommate swaps going on tonight – and I’ll guess that there will be starting on Friday night!

Our evening here has been quiet, but we got quite a bit done thanks to a time phase; and now we’ll all still be sleeping much-sooner than would have been possible for Dad without the Magi-powered help from Mom.  The quiet might continue at least for another couple of days while some of our favorite people are away and the rest of us catch up on some of the boring chores and work, but I’ll have fun anyway – especially with our friends and extra play time at the lab.  For now, that’s all I have too; so I’m going to call it a night and get some sleep.

This is Ehlana Proctor; coming to you live from what is now my past!
