Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - June 3, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

Happy 2nd Birthday, Ryan Jacobs!

Happy 12th Birthday, Jenna Sparks!

Happy 1st Birthday, Carson Carter!

Happy 17th Anniversary, Pastor John and Stacey!

Happy 11th Anniversary, Grandpa Grant and Grandma Eleanor!

We have not been able to offer our best wishes to everyone on that birthday and anniversary list for today, but we have done that for Ryan – and will have a cameo visit with him too before we head over to Jenna’s house for her party.  This update is early because Ehlana will be staying at Jenna’s for the girls-only sleepover and I’ll be at Aiden’s after the party; so we won’t be able to write our journal update later tonight.

As far as today has gone, we’ve had a baseball day so far – from Brianna and Faith’s first victory through to the game that Aiden and I just finished a little while ago.  Four of five ‘family’ games, we won four of them; and Zack is having more fun with razzing the girls on our family cheer squad and blaming them for his loss than he would have had with a win.  The fact that he didn’t want the girls there and complained about that before they moved on to cheer for Leah, Hailey, and their team for the second half of those games, but everyone is having fun with the jokes on both sides so far; and we’ll hope that Zack doesn’t get too-annoying while we’re missing the family birthday dinner for Ryan.

Okay, we’re running out of time; so let’s wrap this up.  Tai Chi by the river and breakfast was more fun with Naomi and Aiden; we loved all of the baseball fun and the rest of the play time we had at the park and elsewhere that included some biking on the trails; and the rest of our story for Jenna’s party and separate sleepovers can wait for tomorrow night.  Stay tuned for that; and we’ll move on and enjoy those adventures!

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
