Happy 48th Birthday, Martin Landry!
We weren’t involved in the fun for Tim’s father, but Michael and Cassie got in on a birthday dinner; and we’re sure that he’s had a happy day – even with it being a work day too.
As for our day, we got up early to see Dad off for his week in the city, and the big difference that we weren’t in on either was that he picked up Anna Marie Palmer on his way out of town because she’ll be working with him all week while continuing to learn that side of their law practice. We should mention her news more-often, but those stories are available elsewhere in the archives anyway; so let’s just add that Anna Marie is a partner in the law firm – and that will eventually be equal partners as she begins to take over clients and gain new ones that Dad hasn’t had time to take on from other nearby towns.
As for our day, after Dad left, we let Mom go back to sleep and sleep in while we eventually met up with Naomi and Aiden and then joined Cassie and Michael for Tai Chi by the river. We loved springing that surprise on Cassie and Michael; and then having breakfast with them was really good too. With that start to our day, you won’t be surprised to find out that we had a good day at school. As always, our last week of school is all about cleaning up ahead of the summer break. We got to have extra outdoor time too; so that worked for us too. While playing with our friends after school was tempting, we opted for hanging out at the lab or archives; we stayed a bit late; and then came home in time for a late dinner with Mom. With Dad out of town, Mom opted for a Magi lesson with us and some family business work in the office; and now we’re wrapping up our day with the usual bedtime computing and twin chat fun.
That brings us up to now, but before we end this; we also want to report that Mom is going to be in the city tomorrow – in-part because Mom and Dad are going to drive up to Woodvale after work tomorrow for Chris and Sadie’s anniversary dinner. We’re going to spend the night with Cassie and Michael, and we plan on having Naomi and Aiden with us too; so we are definitely going to have an awesome day! ;^)
We do want to be ready for that and a late night, so that’s all for this report; and we’re out of here and off to dreamland!
