Ethan's and Ehlana's Journals - June 19, 2023

Ethan and Ehlana:

We’re home tonight and writing this update during our normal bedtime twin chat and computer checks fun.  That almost feels weird after a few early reports, but we’re good with getting back to normal – at least for a day or three.

The buffet dinner at the Inn was a highlight of our day, and while we didn’t have much of a personal involvement in Violet’s birthday roast; we helped out with the kids while some of our favorite adults helped out with the celebration side of the meal.  The rest of our night was awesome too; we loved spending time with Cassie, Michael, and our cousins – including Violet and Dillon’s and Jake and Stephanie’s kids.  We didn’t get a lot of sleep, since we helped out with all overnight feedings, but then that also gave us the excuse for co-ed sofa sleepovers while taking care of what ended up being three wake-up calls.  That didn’t allow for much sleep, but we dealt with that by using a bit of Magi healing for those of us in need of the help this morning.

Tai Chi by the river made for a great start to our day – especially since we got to have Brianna with us while Faith, Leah, and Hailey helped with the babies and toddlers.  Cassie and Michael put together a special breakfast for all of us; we helped with the clean-up and getting all of the younger kids back to parents or elsewhere; and then we moved on so that Cassie and Michael could get started on their ‘real’ work for the rest of the day.  Our summer plans aren’t really set up yet, but we decided to spend the rest of the morning at the lab or archives while Aiden went to the bakery and Naomi went home to help out with chores there while her Dad is still busy with the final week of school for teachers and her Mom was busy at the salon.

We met up for lunch at our house at twelve-thirty.  Mom put a picnic together for us, so we took it to go; hopped on our bikes; and headed for the park and trails.  Quite a few of our friends were already at the park by then, so we biked for a while; went for a cool-down swim; enjoyed our picnic; and then we went back to biking and swimming through until we checked in on Brianna and Faith’s ball practice.  We don’t need to do that every time, but our cousins are always happy when we do – even when that is just a cameo visit.  They do also get Aunt Leanne for their coach and that is always entertaining; so we don’t just visit for our cousins!  Naomi and Aiden had their own family plans, so we were on our own when we came home and in-time to help Mom with making dinner.  That was an easy-meal and clean-up; we did a Magi lesson and family business work in the office.  Mom let us practice our time phasing to help out with getting more done tonight; and then that also allowed us to still come upstairs in decent time for the bath or Jacuzzi clean-up time that we really needed by then.  Now we’re tired and ready to catch up on our sleep, so that’s all for tonight; and we’re simply going to end this and go straight to the nap time right now.

Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
