Ethan and Ehlana:
We’ve had another awesome day, but not much play time or excitement. Tai Chi by the river and breakfast with Mom and Dad made for a great start to our last day of May; we had fun at school with bonus outdoor time while we took lesson reviews out into the sun – not that more light necessarily brought clarity to those reviews for all of our classmates! We played at the lab or archives after school despite the sunny weather, and while we still have time before our summer break; Naomi and Aiden are also getting more work to do at home or the bakery; and we’ll all be working more this summer than last year. That’s a fact of life around here, and we wouldn’t complain about any of that; since we’re among the luckiest tweens when it comes to our chores and part-time jobs.
Ehlana and I were home in time for dinner with Mom and Dad; they let us meet up with Naomi and Aiden for some play time at the park; and we ended up doing more biking on the trails than helping out with the younger kids during the co-ed ball practices because there was already a lot of parent and grandparent support. Cassie and Michael stopped in to check out the baseball action; we chatted with them for a while; and then they went along with us for one more short bit of trail riding before we needed to come home and do some exam studying. Naomi and Aiden stayed with us for that; we studied instead of doing any family business work; and Mom added in a Magi lesson that allowed us to get more done on that studying in less time.
Naomi and Aiden are home now, and we walked them there while taking Silkie out for the walk too. Bath or Jacuzzi time was needed next, but we kept that short; and now we’re winding down with our usual bedtime twin chat and computing. We’re ready to move on to June now, but don’t plan on staying up to see it arrive; so that’s all we have for this report.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
