Happy 23rd Birthday, Nora Roberts!
Mom took care of dropping off the gift for her from Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim; so we didn’t have any involvement in Nora’s special day and hope that she’s had fun with her family and friends.
Our day hasn’t been birthday-exciting, but it has been pretty good and the weather has been awesome – even when we got a little blast of a thunderstorm that didn’t last long-enough to get in the way of any of our fun. Tai Chi was by the river this morning; we had a good day at school; and then our after-school adventures included some work at Cassie and Michael’s house; a barbeque dinner at home; and some play time with younger cousins and their friends at the park while some of the younger parents were busy with their co-ed ball practice. We followed that up with another hours-long work session in the office; we have pretty much gotten everything done ahead of our trip for the weekend; and we’re tired and in need of some sleep and possibly some healing in the morning.
We’ll let you know how that goes for us, but that’s all for this report; and we really are ready to crash and nap now so we’re out of here and off to dreamland!
