Ethan and Ehlana:
Happy Halloween!
Continuing awesome weather has been one of the highlights of our day, and wrapping up October with temperatures around seventy made our Halloween really great. It is cooling down toward freezing again tonight, but that didn’t affect our outdoor adventures today. We’ve written about previous Halloweens with more details, but we’re already into November as we write this; and the specifics don’t seem very important right now. As we mentioned with the last report; we’re a bit relieved to be moving beyond this holiday.
That doesn’t mean that we didn’t have fun – we really did; and stayed fired-up all day through to now. Our morning started with Tai Chi by the river and a hot breakfast; we spent the rest of the morning actually doing some lessons and a Halloween-themed quiz; and then our afternoon was all about having fun with a class party and the annual Haunted House in the gym. Thanks to our costumes, we also got to split the party time between our class and Naomi’s; we performed two songs in each class; and were together for the Haunted House. Naomi and I really appreciated that; and wish that we could be in the same classes every day! That isn’t an option; so let’s move along.
Naomi’s parents ended up hosting our dinner; we ate early and then headed out for trick-or-treating; and we were ready for a mini-act at each house with a total of four song clips that definitely earned us bonus treats! ;^) We covered most of the north-east section of town and then the blocks around the school and church before we were tired and ready to head for our homes. We really did have a blast, but this will probably be our last time going out and around town; so we’ll come up with something else for next year – possibly doing something extra around our houses or just handing out treats for our parents.
After getting home, we had some work to do with getting out of our costumes and putting our gear away; we did a Magi lesson with Mom after she was finished with the kids and teens on the front porch; and then we all had some work to do in the office – for what ended up being a couple of hours with no time phasing. We had fun with the work and time with Mom and Dad; trading the Halloween stories was great too; and then we moved on to bath or Jacuzzi time, and while that added time to our night; we felt better once cleaned up. Our bedtime computing has been short, and that’s true for our twin chat so far too; so once we get this wrapped up; we’ll go and get some sleep now.
November really won’t be much quieter even for the start, but we will try to rest up at least a bit; and get ready for the next blast of holiday fun – especially the week we’ll get to spend with Cassie, Michael, and the rest of our favorite collegians when they come home for Thanksgiving week!
Okay, we’re getting a bit ahead of us, so that’s all for now; and we’re out of here and off to dreamland.
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
