Ethan and Aiden:
This is a guys-only update, and Ehlana is okay with a night off; so this is twin-approved. Ehlana’s choice might have a lot to do with this not being a newsworthy day; and this is going to be a short report.
Our day started out happily from waking up with our favorite cuddle buddies through indoor Tai Chi and a hot breakfast with Naomi’s parents. The rain ended overnight, but everything was wet and it was much-cooler today; so our chores were unpleasant and nothing good to write about tonight. All of the rain from yesterday and last night left the trails wet too, so we didn’t do any outdoor play time today. Once the chores were done at all homes, we had lunch at the Seagers’ home; moved on to a band practice at our house because that’s where our gear is usually kept; and that was an entertainment highlight of our day. We moved on to watch a movie at Naomi’s after that; and then I came home with Aiden in time for dinner with his family – and Leah. We helped out with the work before and after dinner; watched another movie that Hailey and Leah picked out; and we have been playing video games in Aiden’s room since everyone headed for bed after the movie. We’ve done a bedtime video chat with Ehlana and Naomi too, but they opted to head for bed early to avoid Zack and Eli as much as possible. We feel sorry for our favorite girls, but while they’d love to trade Zack and Eli for Hailey and Leah, that isn’t going to happen; and Naomi insists that they shouldn’t even suggest that to Ehlana’s future mother-in-law!
That’s a fun note to wrap this up on, so we’ll do that; and get back to our video gaming for a while longer before we get around to the nap time that we need to get to sooner instead of later – but not quite yet! ;^)
