Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi, and Aiden:
Our top news of the day is that Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim are home for the holiday week and they brought two van-loads of friends along to spend the week with us! We have three couples with us – May and Lee; Madelana and Stefan; and Serena and Shayne. The rest of their friends are split up among other homes – including Rowen’s, Tim’s, and Jake and Stephanie’s places. We’ll have more on that story while they’re here, but we can only report that the end to our evening was busy as we welcomed our house guests; helped with getting their gear to their rooms; and had a bedtime visit with them before settling into the lounge for what is still going to be a co-ed sofa sleepover despite all of the collegians in the house!
The rest of our day before those arrivals wasn’t really memorable except for one little news story that is really only awesome for us – the availability of our Naomi and the Holiday Harmonies’ Christmas album and the first music video. We’ve picked up copies for ourselves and parents; and it was fun to have our songs playing in the kitchen while the family-and-friends’ dinner and holiday pre-cooking adventures were going on. Our academic adventures were good, but we’re ready for the weekend. Mom needed out help after school, but let us do the quick run to the Galleria before she put us to work on the pre-cooking, some cleaning, and making sure that our younger cousins stayed out of trouble while hanging out in the lounge and Ehlana’s room. We had most of the aunts, uncles, and cousins here for dinner; the pre-cooking went on at several homes; and that worked was stopped by nine o’clock – not long after Dad got home from the city.
We are really happy tonight, and while we haven’t had much time with Cassie, Michael, and their friends yet; we are going to be playing a lot this weekend; and it seems that Cassie and Michael have plans for the entire week. We’re winding down with a Christmas movie while the collegians are hanging out in the living room. Spending more time on this report isn’t very interesting compared to cuddling with Naomi – at least for me; so that’s all and we’re back to the real world!
Until next time, live with love, fellow Magi of the Light!
