Ethan and Ehlana:
We had a good day at school after a busy morning that included Tai Chi with May and Lee joining us for that indoor workout. It is warming up a bit again, but was still cold overnight; so we’ll hope that Tai Chi by the river might be an option sometime while Cassie and Michael are home. There isn’t any news to report from our academic adventures, but while we were out, Cassie and Michael hosted the study day with the Interpreters and Econ students while Rowen had the computer geeks and engineers at her house for the day.
After getting home from school with Naomi and Aiden, we offered some entertainment for everyone in the house with our band practice – though our spectators mostly listened from other parts of the house instead of trying to crowd into Ehlana’s room or the lounge. That was fun for us; and might even lead to a few extra album or video sales as Christmas gifts for kids and tweens on some shopping lists! Mom and Dad had twelve for dinner, but that didn’t include Cassie and Michael tonight because they’ve been with Rebecca and her family out at the farm for that meal and the evening. While they’ve been out, we enjoyed a pasta-and-sides dinner; the collegian entertainment included video gaming in the living room or movies in the lounge, and while the fun continues in the living room as we write this, we walked Naomi and Aiden to their homes a little while ago – and took Silkie for a bedtime walk; and now we’re ready to get some sleep too.
This has really been an awesome day, so while we haven’t changed the world in big or small ways; we are very happy and hoping for a lot more fun to come through the rest of the week and holiday. Stay tuned for that while we move on and rest up for whatever adventures come our way tomorrow!
