Ethan, Ehlana, Naomi, and Aiden:
We’ve had a fun day, but there isn’t a lot of news, and we want to focus on co-ed cuddling along the way to our sofa sleepover plans; so this is going to be a short update.
School was pretty good with one bonus round of outdoor academics; we went biking with our friends after school – including some play time at the park playground and picnic snack; and then we’ve been at Aiden’s house since then. We helped out with both sides of the dinner work; enjoyed that meal with his parents and sister; and then we did a band practice to get ready for our final recording session tomorrow night. The music fun ended when Aiden’s Dad needed to head for bed; we watched a show with Hailey; took turns getting cleaned up and ready for bed; and now it is time to get back to the cuddling and the Hallmark Christmas movie that we probably won’t stay awake to finish.
Finally, we should at least mention that it is mid-term election day, but we’re kids from a small town that will make no difference in the results for a contest that won’t change anything significant regardless of which party wins; so the outcome isn’t really news to us at all. We can’t do anything about that now; so we’ll simply hope that we can have a better political system someday in our future – and not waste time on what won’t change today.
