Happy 1st Birthday, Sophie Denninger!
We didn’t have any personal involvement with Sophie’s special day beyond the usual group family gift; so we’ll confidently report without details that our Johnson clan cousin’s family has made sure that she has had an awesome day!
Our top news of the day has been our recording session at the Galleria studio. We had a fun day at school; followed that up with a band practice to get ready for the studio session; and had dinner with the Seagers before heading to the Galleria. We recorded two more songs tonight, but our main focus was on videos; and it looks like we’ll be going with four videos to go along with the album. We’re still not really used to making green screen videos, but it is fun; and we’ll hope that the finished videos will be as entertaining as the Halloween videos were – except with a Christmassy feel to them.
We’re all at Naomi’s house tonight – mostly because we didn’t want to wake Ethan’s father with our return from the studio. Zack and Eli were already in bed by the time we got here; so we had a quiet visit with Naomi’s parents; got ready for bed; and now we’re going with a co-ed sofa sleepover because we’re being allowed to get away with it – even on a school night! ;^)
It is also getting late, so that’s all for tonight. We’ve had another awesome day; we’re happy; and want to get straight to the co-ed napping!
