Ethan and Ehlana:
The first third of our holiday weekend-so-far has been amazing. We’re also very busy; so this late-afternoon update is going to mostly be a placeholder report. Our Friday night fun with family and friends was a blast; we even managed to have some fun with Cassie, Michael, and their weekend college guests; and then they were split up at four different homes – and none of them seemed to mind missing out on the camping part of our adventures!
Baseball news for today is in already; and all of our family teams won the championship games. That kept us busy with four of them, but only Brianna and Faith’s game was very close while Ehlana, Naomi, and the Belles earned a spectacular twelve-to-one victory over the Lasses thanks to some stellar pitching and a total of five double plays that wiped out almost all of the hits that the Lasses managed to earn.
We just got back from a ride at the ranch that included some of our favorite collegians; and we especially-loved the visit that May and Lee got to have with Cody and his family! Now we’re transitioning toward the barbeque dinner that the Carringtons and Everetts are hosting; we will be going with the campfire for the main evening entertainment; and we – and Naomi and Aiden – will definitely be sharing our music with our special weekend guests, families, and friends!
The rest of the news for today can wait for one of the next couple of updates, and we need to get going anyway; so that’s all for today.
