Happy 55th Birthday, Miranda!
We went to the Inn this morning for a birthday breakfast with Miranda – along with everyone that was invited to share the breakfast buffet event with Miranda; so our start to the day was really great. That worked for us after an evening and night that included a blast of music creation, movies, cuddle time, and a co-ed sleepover with our best friends; and then the Tai Chi by the river was pretty good this morning too.
Since then through to now, our day has been awesome! Our incoming weekend guests began arriving early; we got to play with our cousins and friends while the adults in the family took care of most of the work – including the work that went along with our lunch and dinner; and we’re going to be having an outdoor movies and camping night that will be starting at dusk. We need to get ready for that now, and this update is early because we don’t plan on doing any major computing later, but before we wrap this up; we have one bit of surprise news from Cassie, Michael, Rowen, and Tim.
They are on the way home for the holiday weekend – with two rented van loads of college friends! Arrival time is still unknown due to holiday weekend traffic issues and a late departure time, but we are going to love to see so many of our favorite collegians; and it seems that they were all interested in a chance to come here again or for the first time now that their Witch Falls friends are in their final year of school. We’ll have more on that story with our weekend updates, but stay tuned; since the extra guests are sure to make this weekend even better than we’d hoped!
