Ethan and Ehlana:
This is going to be a micro-update.
We’re officially beginning the annual summer hometown vacation with the cousins. Some of them are still incoming, but we’re writing this report now because we’re picking up gear for an outdoor movie night to go along with more group camping. Dad’s already home too after a quieter day in the city; and we’ll have some ‘aunts and uncles’ visiting for a day or two too because Aunt Leanne only picked up one small load of cousins at a half-way point instead of trying to get all of the kids and teens.
We’ll cover the ‘fun’ news of the day with one of the next couple of hours, but for this short report; let’s just include two things.
Happy 15th Birthday, Jeremy Green! Kaitlyn is busy right now helping Jeremy with celebrating his special day, but we did see him once and deliver a family gift. They won’t be here for the camping tonight either, but we’ll guess that our cousin and her boyfriend will manage to have fun even without a gang of younger tweens and kids! ;^)
We also want to mention the cousins that we are going to be spending a lot of the next two weeks with while they’re here for that hometown holiday. That doesn’t feel the same for Jaimie and Kaitlyn, since they’re here for most of the summer anyway, but then they’re also busier with their summer jobs and boyfriends anyway. That really makes it feel like Jayden is the only remaining cousin coming for this visit from the Proctor clan; and that also has the Johnson clan cousins far outnumbering our ‘official’ cousins. Uncle Adam and Aunt Deborah’s visiting cousins this year include Kara, Eddie, Nicole, Robyn, and Tristan. We’ll also have Tristan’s parents, brother, and sister here for the weekend, but two-year old James and six-month-old Karyn will go home on Sunday with Rob and Trish. That still will be one of the smallest groups of cousins we’ve had here since Mom and Cassie moved here, but that’s temporary; since the next generation of cousins is beginning – and there will eventually be a lot of them!
Okay, the rest of the news will need to wait because we need to get to the campground with our projector and the rest of the gear; so we’re out of here!
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
