Happy 10th Anniversary, Uncle Nick and Aunt Deborah!
We’re home tonight; and this update is coming to you between dinner and our evening plans for a campfire and camping night. We were up early this morning for another Tai Chi workout with Cassie and Michael; we had another ‘special’ breakfast; and then we packed up and hit the road for home while Cassie went off to school for the day. The trip home felt long, but we made decent time; and got back in time to deliver an only-slightly-late fast food lunch for Aunt Leanne. That also gave us time to unpack; go for a swim with some cousins and friends; play with Silkie; and then help out with the work to get ready for the anniversary dinner party that the Carringtons and Seagers co-hosted in their back yards.
That work kept us busy for a couple of hours because it partly included setting up tents for our camping adventures. The dinner party was a major event with family and friends; we – the kids – were mostly on the sidelines while our aunt and uncle were roasted by the other adults; and we just finished up with the clean-up and a cool-down swim. We’re here at home to get cleaned up and ready for the campfire and camping; so the rest of the news for tonight will need to wait for our next report.
