Ethan and Ehlana:
Congratulations, Violet and Dillon – you’re officially pregnant!
Timing that news with a game night helped to make our day more-fun, though from what everyone saw and heard tonight at the Inn; Ryan was not impressed and interested in celebrating the happy news! Ryan is still a bit young to appreciate his future responsibilities as a big brother, but his unhappiness had more to do with being over-tired and having his day last a bit too-long; since Violet and Dillon don’t usually bring him to game night – or come at all – very often.
While game night was a highlight of our day; we don’t really have any newsworthy adventures from school or the lab to offer tonight. We are getting into the next round of learning modules this week, but we can’t really get all that excited about the actual work; and the fun with our friends has been a bit muted as we continue to roll through this stretch of winter weirdness. It didn’t warm up a lot today even though it was better; so we opted for the play time at the lab again instead of indoor play time with our friends. It isn’t really unusual to feel that way this far into winter; so we’re glad that we have our ‘real’ work and research to keep busy with when we don’t feel like playing out in the great, cold outdoors.
Following the gaming fun at the Inn, we came home with Mom and Dad; did a Magi lesson with Mom; and took care of some of that research and a bit of family business work too. Mom used a time-phase for a lot of that blast of work-fun, but it is still getting late; so we need to wrap this up and get some sleep. We will add one item that we talked about with Mom again tonight – time phasing and puberty. Mom is going to have us cut back on time phases soon; since she and Cassie have established an accurate assessment of the effects of time phasing on kids going through puberty. There are a lot of factors that go into those calculations, but all that really matters is that we don’t want to attract any attention to ourselves by suddenly speeding through our upcoming growth spurts in half the normal time. While I wouldn’t have any major problem with being a bit taller than Naomi over the next few years; Ehlana definitely doesn’t want to spend those same years being a foot taller than Aiden! ;^)
There are far-better reasons for cutting way back on time phasing for the next two or three years, but we don’t really need to get into any of that tonight, and it really is time for us to move on and get some sleep; so that’s all for this report.
Until next time, this little blast from your near or distant past is written for you with love from Ethan and Ehlana Proctor – twin junior Magi Masters of the Light!
